“Under Construction”

I apologize for the lack of updates around here lately. The stale nature of this website does not reflect how hard I’m working behind the scenes. A number of exciting projects have occupied my time for the last several months. My first photo book, Autumn, is almost finished. A completely new website is in the works. Last but certainly not least, a brand new collection of photographs is in the works! I am essentially overhauling Jesse Speer Photography, as I move to B/W photography. I’m almost finished with all of it. Stay tuned!

Until these projects are completed, I invite you to keep up with the latest updates and photographs on my Facebook page … which has become my “blog” during this transition time.

In Memory

Another image from my recent fall colors photography trip, this image is dedicated to the loving, everliving memory of my cousin Dave Speer Jr.

After Glow

I’d like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo
Whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days

I’d like the tears
Of those who grieve,
To dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
