Yellowstone Country, 2008

While settling down after our move to SW Montana in March, I managed to escape for a few weekends and explore some of the local attractions. I was eager to get to know my new surroundings, and maybe even shake the dust off my camera. Most of my time was spent simply driving around the portion of Montana and Wyoming known as the "Greater Yellowstone" area. The following gallery features some of my favorite images from spring visits to Yellowstone National Park, the Beartooth Scenic Highway and other lesser known places near home.
