The Rocky Mountains provide a spectacle of dramatic diversity at any given moment of the year. During autumn, this diversity is more accessible than ever. From a sweeping panoramic view to an intimate detail of a branch, there are wild juxtapositions everywhere—contrasts that define the essence of autumn, if not of the essence of nature itself. As I roam the mountains during September and October, I constantly aim my viewfinder at the endless subjects in their heightened states of glory.  Here is where I visually sing of the contrasts within the land…the elements that stand bright against the boldness of the season, and the moments that whisper in the shadows.
